DAY 04: HAVELOCK ISLAND - ELEPHANT BEACH
Embark on the most memorable snorkelling trip, just 40 min by Boat this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and it’s so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkelling. It’s also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life.

DAY 02: LEH TO LAMAYURU THEN ALCHI , RESONG ,NUNNERY, BASGO MONASTERIES
After breakfast drive to Lamayuru(127 kms)It was build in 11th century by Great translator Rinchen Zangpo. This Monastery is one of the biggest in Ladakh,This Monastery is Drigung –Kagyu-pa sect of Buddhism. After Lunch drive to visit the mesmerizing Moon landscape.
Than drive back to uley .than Car will drive you between the gorge to Resong Monastery and Nunnery Both are in same gorge, This Monastery is most unusual in ladakh .betwee n the hills stands in isolation. This is Gelug-pa sect of Buddhism. Then comes Alchi Monastery one of the biggest and oldest builds in 11th century. It is Kagyu-pa; Gelug-pa sect of Buddhism. This Monastery is not build on the mountain and hills like others. It is in between the village.
DAY 03: ALCHI / LAMAYURU TO LEH
After Btreak fast Drive back to Leh. Around 40 kms before leh is Basgo Monastery which is Kagyu-pa follower of Buddhism, once this place was Capital. On the way back You are going to see Magnificent Confluence of Two River Indus and Zanskar, After 7 kms Magnetic hill is on the which defies Gravity, Guru-dawara ,Hall of fame is just 6 km before leh . This is maintained by Army. It contains History, Culture, Fauna, Flora and many things inside. Overnight in Leh Hotel.
DAY 04: LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY
Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of th e Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder, have a rest till evening ,before sun set we will take you for a short drive to Hunder sand dunes to visit & ride double humped bacterium camel, later back to accommodation for overnight stay If time permits we will walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.
DAY 05: NUBRA TO LEH
Morning after breakfast we will visit the most picturesque Disket monastery on the hill top. Later continue drive to other side of Nubra valley – was the main part of silk route. We will continue our drive back to Leh via Khardongla. Reach Leh & transfer to Hotel overnight stay.
DAY 06: LEH–PANGONG LAKE–LEH (296 KM)
After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake en route crossing Changla pass 17,570fts. Pangong Lake, situated at 13,930 feet (4,267 m). It will take around 5 hours to reach their .A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 125 km long; it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. By evening you will be back to Leh.
DAY 07: LEH TO TSOMORIRI LAKE. (240 KM, 7 HOURS)
After breakfast in the Hotel leave for beautifull Tsomoriri lake .which is around 240 kms from leh but today we are not going to cross any pass so the road is straight, and it will take about 6 hours. On the one side of the lake is Korzok village .a Leisure walk along the side of the lake is recommended .As it give you internal peace if you go toward north –east direction for an hour or half you can see Nomad’s and can be interact with them. Over night in Korzok.
DAY 08: TSOMORIRI TO TSOKAR LAKE THEN BACK TO LEH
Early morning drive to Serchu passing Puga (Sulphur mine), Tsokar Lake, Skyang chu thang (The biggest and Highest Plateau on Stretch about 45 kms), In Pang you can enjoy the Lunch, then Leave for Sarchu via crossing Nakeela and Lchung la .if you want to travel up to kelong you can it will increase your travel for 2 hours over night in Sarchu.

After cross the Fotu La, which is the highest pass on the Leh – Srinagar road and pretty much divides the majorly Buddhist district of leh from the primarily islamic population of Kargil. Enroute we’ll be visiting Lamayaru. It is also known for its Moonland like surface. Via visit Lamayaru, followed by Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib & Hall of fame. Enroute also check the confluence of Indus & Zanskar river called Sangam by locals. Overnight at Leh.
DAY 06: AFTER BREAKFAST VISIT THE BELOW PLACES ( 45 KMS APPROX)
On this day you will go a sightseeing trip to some ancient monasteries and most popular in this area.
Shey Gompais about 15 kms from Leh. It used to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh. There are lots of Stupas and Gompas built around the palace. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17’Th century AD. Main attraction in Shey is the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the Dresthang Gompa.
Thiksey Gompa, close to Shey is about 17 kms from Leh. The monastery is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspa order . This Monastery is more than 500 year old .
Hemis Monastery, about 45 kms south of Leh it is one of the most famous and largest monastery in Ladakh. It belongs to the Drukpa order and was founded in the early 17’Th century. The setting is perfect with the monastery cradled in a lovely valley, surrounded by Mountain and fronted by long Mani walls. Shanti stupa / Hall of Fame etc. Overnight in Guest House.
DAY 07: LEH TO HUNDER ( NUBRA) (125 KMS / 4-5 HRS)
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass(Highest Motor able Road in the World, 18,380 ft)from here you can feel the cold dry and thin air like you are in glacier . Arrive at Deskit by Afternoon. You can have lunch as Diskit is Head quarter of Nubra Block and visit Diskit Monastery .One is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and Camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hunder. DAY 08: HUNDER TO TURTUK & BACK TO HUNDER (85 KMS/ 3.5 HRS)

DAY 10: LEH – PANGONG, VIA CHANG LA (PASS) (5320MTS) (5-6HRS)
After breakfast, drive (154km/ 6 hrs) to the spectacular Changthang Valley, winding your way over the exhilarating Chang la (5320m.)- The second highest point of our journey. The landscape on the way to Pangong is just spectacular. Overnight in fixed cam or guesthouse.
DAY 11: PANGONG TO TSOMORIRI LAKE (240 KMS / 9-10 HRS APPROX)
Start your day early when the surroundings of the lake look even more beautiful. If you want, you can click some photographs here. Later on, start driving towards Tsomoriri Lake. The largest lake in Ladakh, it lies at an altitude of 15075 feet. You drive up to Kharu and then right to the Moriri Lake. En-route halt at Chumathang Hot springs. Drive past Mahe Bridge and then drive towards the beautiful Tsomoriri Lake. Spot Himalayan marmots. Evening arrival at the Lake. Check-in at the tented camp near the lake. Near the lake, you can spot as many as 34 avifauna species. The lake has been declared a Wetland of international significance under the Ramsar Convention in 2003.Stay overnight in the camp.

A 7000 stair trek to Nongriat’s Living Root Bridge The living root bridges of Nongriat village are one of the manmade wonders, dating back many centuries. Tattapani village is located in Mandi district at a distance of 51 km from Shimla and 29 km from Naldehra. It is situated on the right bank of river Sutlej at an altitude of 2,230 ft. Above the sea level. In local language, Tattapani means hot water.
DAY 05: SHIMLA-MANALI (8-9 HOURS JOURNEY)
After breakfast leave for Manali, and overnight stay in Manali.
DAY 06: MANALI-KULLU (8-9 HOURS JOURNEY)
after breakfast leave for kullu ,and on the way sight-seeing like Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Vaishno Devi Temple and overnight stay in kullu.
DAY 07: KULLU-MANIKARN (85 KMS) - KULLU
after breakfast Manali to Manikaran by individual cab (85 km) on the way visit places like, Kullu shawl Factory, Bhuntar, Kasol valley, and back to Manali hotel.
Manikarn has the words hottest sulfur spring water and is a holy place for hinds and Sikh like. This place is famous for Shiva tample, Ram temple, Gurudwar and hot water springs. This is a Parbati valley this is a largest valley in the Kullu distict.
DAY 08: KULLU-LOCAL SIGHT SEEING-MANALI
After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Manali after check in hotel visit to half day local sightseeing of Manali "Hadimba Temple" built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered Pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. "club House" the Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a Roller Skating Rink, an Auditorium, Billiards Rooms, a Library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day." Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and "Vashist" well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to lord rama. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.
DAY 09: MANALI-SOLANG VALLEY-MANALI
This day after breakfast proceed towards Solang valley. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organised in Solang Valley. Sking and Paragliding are two main activities are organized here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc
DAY 10: MANALI-CHANDIGARH

DAY 01: CHANDIGARH – SHIMLA – SARAHAN
We will start from Chandigarh early morning and stop in Shimla for a brunch. From Shimla, we’ll drive past Wangtu bridge and reach Sarhan to stay for the night. If we reach there in evening, we can visit the bird park or visit Bhim Kali temple. If needed, we can also begin from Shimla or New Delhi.
DAY 02: SARAHAN – RECKONG PEO – KALPA
We’ll drive to Kalpa village and spend some time in meadows and apple orchards. Reckong Peo is district headquarter of Kinnaur district and the launching pad for most expeditions to Spiti. Out hotel over there is nestled between beautiful orchards of apple and cherry trees in a very quaint and romantic location. Overnight stay at Kalpa.
DAY 03: KALPA – PUH – NAKO – SUMDO – TABO
From this point, you’ll notice a change in the terrain as the barren cold desert landscape of Spiti becomes visible. Driving through, we’ll reach Nako village and stay there for night. We’ll visit the Nako lake and monastery in village to observe rituals of local Buddhist monks. The walk in near by areas will provide some great views of mountainous scenery. Overnight stay at Tabo.
DAY 04: TABO LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Tabo Monastery is more than 1000 years old and contains many priceless Thanka paintings and artifacts including Pillar of a Thousand Buddhas. This monastery is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The entry to monastery which is spread over 6300 square meters is made of earthen walls and covered with beautiful frescoes. These paintings depict various lives of Buddha and stories from Jataka tales painted in typical Tibetan style. You can also visit nearby caves which are used by monks to meditate in solitude and introspection. Overnight stay at Tabo.
DAY 05: TABO – DHANKAR – LALUNG
Dhankar is about 3 hours drive away from Kaza and is also the ancient capital of Spiti and seat of Spitian Kings. There are ruins of an ancient castle and a monastery constructed in 16th century. It’s situated on top of a steep mountain ridge overlooking the valley. A walk to Dhankar lake takes about 90 minutes, We’ll then drive to Lalung village which is a small picturesque village inhabited by friendly and helpful villagers. Lalung monastery is famous for it’s statue of Three Cornered Buddha made with 3 sides to symblise Buddha looking in every direction. It is believed that Rinchen Zangpo, founder of major monasteries in Spiti planted a willow tree and instructed the locals to construct a monastery of the tree survives. Today, an ancient willow tree stands in front of the monastery constructed in 10th century. Overnight stay at Lalung.
DAY 06: LALUNG – KAZA – LANGCHA
Langcha village hangs over Kaza town at an altitude of 4250 meters. The road leading to Langcha village is among the highest motorable roads anywhere in the world. Traveling along this road, the travellers get spectacular views of valley and sparkling waters of Spiti river flowing through it. The route eventually leads to Shilla valley on plateau above which has grazing grounds for local livestock. Langcha village is divided in to Upper and Lower village. We’ll have lunch there in a local house and enjoy authentic delicious cuisine of Spiti . We’ll visit a 900 years old Buddhist temple and then visit Komik. We will then hunt for millions of years old fossils in Langthis Natural Fossil Center. After that, we can visit Komik monastery, which is one of highest monasteries anywhere in world as well as another ancient monastery near Hikkim village which was destroyed in an earthquake in 1975. Overnight stay at Langcha.
DAY 08: LANGCHA – KAZA – KI MONASTRY – KIBBER
We’ll travel on road to Kibber and visit world famous Ki Monastery located at an altitude of 4120 meters. We’ll walk around it and see vast collection of ancient paintings and manuscripts contained in the large complex. Ki monastery belongs to Gelugpa Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. After monastery, we’ll move towards Kibber village which is among the biggest villages in Lahaul Spiti region and situated at an altitude of 4250 meters. The surroundings offer a good spot for wildlife sightings. We’ll spend the night in our hotel there. Overnight stay at Kibber.
DAY 09: KIBBER – CHICHAM
Next day, we’ll trek to Chicham village which is located on other side of a sharp and precipitous canyon. We can also go there by a thrilling ropeway ride (called jhoola in local dialect). It’s not uncommon to spot the elusive snow leopard here. It’s also a good place to spot other wildlife like Ibex, Blue Sheep, Golden Cock, Pika, Himalayan Wolf and more. Overnight stay at Chicham.
DAY 10: CHICHAM – KUNZUM LA – CHANDRATAAL LAKE
We’ll leave early next morning and drive up to Kunzum La for a short break. Kunzum La is a vital pass in the region at an altitude of 4550 meters. There’s also a temple dedicated to Goddess Kunzum. We can either trek to Chandrataal Lake ( 8 km) from there or drive via Batal. Chandrataal Lake is one of the major attractions of Spiti valley famous for it’s crystal clear water and stunning views. We’ll spend the night in our campsite about 1 km from the lake.
DAY 11: CHANDRATAAL LAKE – BATAL – CHATRU
Next morning, we’ll drive to Batal, a popular resting stop for vehicles on this route and have tea in hospitable Chandradhaba. We’ll get close to Chandra river and spend some time soaking in the views. After that we’ll reach Chatru and camp there for the night near river. We’ll see the fields, spend sometime with local Gaddi shephards and enjoy the views of dozens of small streams flowing through mountains and joining Chandra river as it gains more volume. Overnight stay at Chatru.
DAY 12: CHATRU – ROHTANG PASS – MANALI
Next morning, we’ll leave for Manali. The drive normally takes between 6 to 7 hours. As we leave valley, the desert landscape of the valley is left behind replaces by greenery all over. We’ll reach Rohtang Pass by noon and visit Beas Kund. After having a cup of tea, we’ll reach Manali in evening. Check in the hotel and walk around Old Manali town for sightseeing. Overnight stay at Manali.
DAY 13: MANALI SIGHTSEEING
Visit Vashishta Temple and soak in hot water springs to relax the tired limbs. After that visit Hidimba Temple and Manu’s Temple , the sole temple in world dedicated to first human being according to Hindu mythology. After lunch we’ll walk through wooded area of Manali to relax and have dinner.
DAY 14: MANALI - CHANDIGARH
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh and get dropped at the railway station or airport for your onward journey.
